So what is it?
Club bell yoga is a non dogmatic approach combining intelligent movement and breath. You learn how to implement joint mobility, circular strength exercises and flow into a yoga class seamlessly.
What stood out for me over the weekend is how quickly practising with the club bell takes you out of your mind and into the body. I really liked the teacher Summer Huntingdon. There was a big contrast between the powerful strong practise of club bell yoga and her sweet, humble, gentle nature. I mentioned how much that interested me and her thoughts were that this is something to do with the combination of the ancient form of strength training with the Indian club bells and traditional hatha yoga somehow creating a balance of mind body and soul.
